We built pressotherapy.co.uk to be the resource we wished existed - an independent, UK-focused guide that cuts through the noise and helps you find the right device for your needs without wading through pages of affiliate spam.

How we review devices
Every product on this site goes through the same process:
- We verify it's genuine pressotherapy. Many products listed as "pressotherapy" or "compression boots" on Amazon are simple vibration massagers or static compression sleeves. We filter these out. Only devices with true sequential air compression make it onto the site.
- We require a minimum review count. Every product must have at least 20 verified customer reviews on Amazon. This gives us enough data to assess real-world performance and reliability.
- We analyse customer feedback. We read through hundreds of reviews to identify common themes - what people love, what breaks, what disappoints. This feeds directly into our written reviews.
- We calculate scores objectively. Our ratings are based on four measurable criteria: Performance (rating + review volume), Value (price-to-quality ratio), Build Quality (price tier + rating proxy), and Comfort (rating-weighted). No subjective gut feelings.
- We update regularly. Prices change, new products launch, and old ones get discontinued. We re-pull data from Amazon regularly to keep everything current.
How we make money
We earn commission through Amazon affiliate links. When you click a "Check Price on Amazon" button on this site and make a purchase, we earn a small percentage of the sale. This is the standard Amazon Associates programme.
The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to Amazon. You never pay more because of us.
This affiliate income is what funds the site - it pays for hosting, research time, and ongoing content updates.
What we don't do
- Accept payment for reviews. No brand can pay to be featured or to receive a higher score.
- Accept free products for review. We don't receive samples from manufacturers. Every product is assessed using publicly available data.
- Let affiliate commissions influence rankings. We recommend the best product for the user, not the one that pays us the most. Amazon pays the same commission rate regardless of which product you buy.
- Run display advertising. No banner ads, no pop-ups, no sponsored content blocks.

How affiliate links work
When you click an Amazon link on this site, a small tag is added to the URL (our affiliate ID). If you purchase anything on Amazon within 24 hours of clicking, we earn a commission - typically 1-10% depending on the product category.
This means:

- Amazon tracks the referral, not us - we never see your personal purchase details
